P&H High Court Enhances Compensation To 7-Year-Old Accident Victim To ₹3.5 Lakh; Accepts Later Disability Certificate As Additional Evidence at Appellate Stage
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has enhanced compensation to a child injured in a 1997 road accident to ₹3.5 lakh, up from ₹70,000 awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, and directed payment of the enhanced amount with 7.5% interest from the date of the claim petition.
