P&H: Quashes Proclaimed Offender Order For Non-Compliance u/s.82 CrPC
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has quashed order declaring a man proclaimed offender, finding that the trial court failed to comply with the mandatory requirements of Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
The case arose for offences under Sections 447, 427 and 147 of the Indian Penal Code.
