P&H: Grants Bail in Government Wheat Theft Case, Cites Weakness of Co-Accused Disclosure Evidence

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Raman Gulati alias Pawan Kumar Gulati in a case arising out of the alleged theft of government wheat from a rented godown in Amritsar Rural. The case involved serious charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act, after unidentified persons allegedly entered the premises at gunpoint and fled with 1077 bags of wheat.
