P&H: Grants Anticipatory Bail in Property Dispute, Says Custodial Interrogation Not Needed

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Krishan Kumar in an FIR registered at Police Station Khanauri, District Sangrur, arising out of a dispute over a Will and subsequent sale deeds.

The petitioner had approached the court under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking protection from arrest in a case registered under provisions corresponding to cheating and criminal breach of trust under the IPC.
