The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a regular second appeal filed by the legal heirs of a deceased seller in a property dispute arising out of an agreement to sell. The court upheld the lower appellate court’s decision granting the buyer recovery of Rs.4.5 lakh as earnest money with 9% interest.
