The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a petition filed by M/s Parkash Products (India) and another in a cheque dishonour case, refusing to interfere with a trial court order that declined their request to send the cheques for handwriting expert examination.

The dispute arose from a complaint under the Negotiable Instruments Act filed by Ravinder Pal Singh, who alleged that the petitioners had purchased iron and steel goods on credit and later issued a cheque of about ₹30,895 towards payment. The cheque was dishonoured for insufficient funds, leading to the criminal complaint.
