P&H: Grants bail in third bail petition in attempt-to-murder case, cites long custody, statement of eye witnesses recorded and delay in trial
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to a man facing charges under Sections 307, 323, 325, 452, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code in connection with an alleged attack at a house in Jalandhar. The Court noted that the petitioner had already spent more than one year and ten months in custody and that the trial was moving slowly.
