The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Tejveer Singh in a case registered under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, arising from the recovery of 22 boxes of illicit liquor from two intercepted vehicles.

The FIR was lodged after police claimed that two cars were stopped at a picket on a tip-off, following which the drivers allegedly fled from the spot. The prosecution said that one accused, Paramvir Singh, was arrested later and disclosed the name of Tejveer Singh as the driver of the second vehicle.
