P&H: Grants Bail to Man Accused in Mobile Snatching Case After 3 Years 8 Months inside Jail

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted regular bail to Tehal Singh alias Kulcha, who was facing trial in a mobile snatching case registered at Sadar Amritsar in 2019. The Court noted that he had already spent about three years and eight months in custody in the case.

According to the prosecution, Tehal Singh, along with two co-accused, allegedly snatched the complainant’s mobile phone while riding a motorcycle. It was alleged that he was carrying a datar and used it to threaten the complainant during the incident.
