P&H: Grants bail to two men accused in murder case considering long incarceration and slow trial

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted regular bail to Nitin alias Charitar and Dalveer Singh alias Ballu, who were facing trial in a Bhiwani murder case arising out of a village election dispute.

The case related to the killing of Mahender and firearm injuries suffered by Ajit @ Walia on 16 November 2022. According to the prosecution, the incident stemmed from tensions linked to a Sarpanch election, and the petitioners were said to have been involved in the conspiracy behind the attack.
