P&H: Grants Bail to Woman Accused in NDPS Case of 1000 tablets of Alprazolam, Cites Delay in Trial

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Kulwant Kaur, who was facing trial in an NDPS case involving alleged recovery of Alprazolam tablets and heroin. The Court said that her prolonged custody, slow pace of trial and the completion of investigation justified release on bail.

According to the prosecution, Kulwant Kaur was riding pillion on a motorcycle with co-accused Ajay Singh @ Kala when police intercepted the vehicle on 7 October 2022.
