P&H: Candidates Found Unsuitable for Lambardar Post Cannot Rejoin Fresh Selection Without Challenging Earlier Order
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has held that candidates who were found unsuitable for appointment as Lambardar and did not challenge that order cannot later be allowed to take part in a fresh selection process.
Justice Pankaj Jain was hearing a writ petition filed by Taranjit Singh against an order of the Financial Commissioner (Appeals), Punjab, which had set aside the orders of the Collector, Kapurthala and the Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, and remanded the matter for fresh consideration.
