P&H: Upholds Eviction From Gram Panchayat Land, Says Vacant Abadi Deh Land Not Owned by Any Person

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a writ petition filed by Bhupinder Singh challenging eviction proceedings initiated by the Gram Panchayat over 700 square yards of land in Village Balana, Ambala. The Court upheld the orders passed by the Assistant Collector, Collector and Commissioner directing eviction of the petitioner’s father from the disputed land.
