P&H: Refuses to Cancel Anticipatory Bail in Assault Case, Cites Cross-Version and No Misuse of Liberty.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a petition seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to two accused in a Faridabad assault case. Justice N.S. Shekhawat held that the petition did not disclose any ground such as misuse of bail, tampering with evidence, threat to witnesses, or criminal antecedents.

The case arose from FIR No. 361 dated 05.06.2026 registered at Police Station Sector-58, Faridabad. The complainant alleged that he was attacked near D.P.S. School and Kaili flyover by persons who blocked his car, beat him with sticks and rods, and threatened to kill him if he reported the incident.
