P&H: Grants Bail to Accused in Murder Case, as no specific role was attributed to accused, arrested on basis of disclosure statement, custody of more than 1 year
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted regular bail to Aleem Khan, who was booked in a Gurugram case involving serious charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the IPC and the Arms Act.
The prosecution had opposed bail, arguing that the petitioner played a pivotal role in the offence. It was submitted that call detail records showed continuous contact between the main accused and the petitioner before and after the incident.
