The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted regular bail to Aleem Khan, who was booked in a Gurugram case involving serious charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the IPC and the Arms Act.

The prosecution had opposed bail, arguing that the petitioner played a pivotal role in the offence. It was submitted that call detail records showed continuous contact between the main accused and the petitioner before and after the incident. The State also relied on a disclosure statement said to have been made by the petitioner admitting involvement.
