P&H: Grants Bail in NDPS Case, Says No Direct Evidence connecting petitioner with recovery of contraband.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted regular bail to Jagmohan Sing @ Jaggu @ Jagga in an NDPS case, observing that there was no direct evidence connecting him with the recovery of heroin and that his alleged role had surfaced mainly through a co-accused’s disclosure statement.

The case arose from an FIR registered at Police Station ANTF, District SAS Nagar, after the police intercepted a vehicle and allegedly recovered 15 kg 400 grams of heroin from the rear seat.
