P&H: Refuses to Cancel Bail in ₹56 Lakh Fraud Case, Says Mere Apprehension Is Not Enough.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has declined to cancel the regular bail granted to an accused in a cheating and criminal conspiracy case involving an alleged fraud of ₹56 lakh. Justice Virinder Aggarwal said the power to cancel bail is very different from the power to refuse bail in the first place.
