The Punjab and Haryana High Court has upheld the conviction of two men in a 2001 knife assault case arising out of FIR No. 95 registered at Police Station Sultanwind, Amritsar. The case was filed by Kashmir Singh, who alleged that his son Ranjit Singh was attacked near a village graveyard after a quarrel over alleged defamation in the village.
