P&H: Rejects Bail in NDPS case, as rigours of S.37 of NDPS Act are squarely attracted in view of recovery of 1400 Kg Poppy Husk.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has refused regular bail to Santokh Singh in a case involving the alleged recovery of 1400 kg of poppy husk. Justice Sumeet Goel said the huge quantity of contraband and the nature of the allegations made the petitioner ineligible for the discretionary relief of bail.
