P&H: Upholds Rejection of Candidate’s Candidature Over not submitting valid BC-A Certificate
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a writ petition filed by Nitish Kumar, who challenged the cancellation of his candidature for the post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Haryana’s Irrigation and Water Resources Department. Justice Nidhi Gupta held that the Haryana Public Service Commission had rightly rejected his candidature for failing to submit the required BC-A Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
