P&H: Quashes order declaring petitioner as Proclaimed Person for Non-Compliance with S.82 Cr.P.C.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has set aside an order declaring Sarpreet Singh alias Jyoti Sekhon a proclaimed person in a case arising out of FIR No. 270 of 2020 registered at Police Station City Patti, Tarn Taran. The Court found that the trial court had not followed the mandatory procedure under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
