The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted interim regular bail to Avtar Singh in an NDPS case, observing that the chemical examiner’s report had not yet been received and the matter was still under investigation. The petition was filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail in an FIR registered under Section 21 of the NDPS Act.
