P&H: Enhances compensation in child death by taking as minimum wages payable to an unskilled worker and injury motor accident cases
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has enhanced compensation in a batch of motor accident appeals arising out of a 1996 road accident involving a Matador vehicle. The appeals were filed by claimants who were dissatisfied with the awards passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kurukshetra.
