P&H: Enhances Compensation from Rs.2.22 Lakh to 12.14 Lakh, for Parents of 19 Year Old Engineering Student Killed in Road Accident
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has enhanced the compensation payable to the parents of a 19-year-old engineering student who died in a motor accident in 1998. The Court found that the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal had awarded a lump sum amount of Rs.2,22,000, which was grossly inadequate.
