P&H: Upholds 8% Interest Award Against Municipal Committee for Delayed Payment
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has upheld an award of simple interest at 8% per annum against the Municipal Committee, Ratia, for delaying payment for construction materials supplied by M/s Gautam Tiles. Justice Virinder Aggarwal dismissed the Committee’s regular second appeal, finding no ground to disturb the concurrent decisions of the courts below.
