P&H: Rejects Anticipatory Bail Plea In House-Trespass Assault Case, Grievous Head Injury, Says Delay In FIR/MLR Not Fatal

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed an anticipatory bail plea filed by Darbara Singh in a case alleging violent house trespass and assault resulting in multiple grievous injuries to a woman and her husband. 

According to the FIR, five armed men allegedly entered the complainant’s home in the night. The prosecution alleged that Darbara Singh, armed with a kirch, along with others armed with datars, assaulted the complainant and her husband, causing several injuries, many on the head.
