P&H: Rejects Bail in NDPS Case Involving Etizolam Recovery, Says Section 37 Conditions Not Satisfied.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed a regular bail plea filed by Raghu in an NDPS case arising out of the recovery of Etizolam powder and intoxicant capsules. The Court said the mandatory conditions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act were not met and that no case was made out for granting bail.

According to the prosecution, police intercepted two young men riding an Activa in Dasuya on 28 December 2024. The pillion rider allegedly threw away a polythene bag on seeing the police party. The bag was later found to contain 47 grams of intoxicant material...
