P&H: Transfers Wife’s Restoration Plea in Matrimonial Case to Ludhiana

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has allowed a wife’s request to transfer her pending restoration application in a matrimonial dispute from Jalandhar to Ludhiana. The case arose out of a divorce petition filed by the husband, which had earlier been decided ex parte.

The wife had filed an application under Order IX Rule 13 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to set aside the ex parte judgment and decree passed in the divorce case.
